Farmer's Current Practice

What does the farmer normally apply?

System auto-calculation:
That delivers: N 9.9 kg, P 14.8 kg, K 9.9 kg per hectare
Comparison: Current practice supplies only 11% of nitrogen requirement for 4 t/ha wheat. Phosphorus is close to removal (97%), but nitrogen is critically short.

Step 3: AI Analysis

Three specialist agents analyze your soil and build the program

🧪
Soil Scientist
Analyzing soil chemistry...
Method selected: Albrecht (BCSR) -- loam soil, adequate CEC
Lime requirement: Eckstein method: 0 t/ha (pH adequate at 5.8)
Mg HIGH (24.7% -- target 10-20%). Suppressing K and micronutrient uptake.
K LOW (1.4% -- target >5%). Will need supplementation in future seasons.
Ca slightly below ideal (65.3% vs 68%). Correcting via MetaboPhos-CalSica.
Fe, Zn, Cu critically low -- Ca antagonism. Foliar correction essential.
pH 5.8 -- within range. No lime needed.
Cascade alert: Ca application will further suppress micronutrients. Foliar compensation included in program.

Calculating nutrient budget...

Crop Removal (4 t/ha wheat)

N88 kg
P15.2 kg
K17.2 kg
S10 kg
Soil credits: Haney organic N release = 30 kg
Net N from fertilizer: 88 - 30 = 58 kg/ha
In-furrow N capped at 15 kg (FSSA/Green Book guideline)
All P placed in-furrow (immobile nutrient -- placement critical)
Remaining N: Pre-plant broadcast for microbial processing time

Product Selection Rationale

Nutricat Urea (not standard urea): Urease inhibitor prevents N volatilization. At R16.28/kg, only R0.98 more than standard but 15-20% less N loss.
MetaboPhos-CalSica 60/40: Supplies P + Ca simultaneously. Citric acid soluble P is more available than MAP at this pH.
MAP33: Higher P analysis (33% vs 22%) means less bulk per ha. Supplements MetaboPhos P.
AMS: Dual-purpose -- supplies S (deficient at 16.3 ppm for wheat) plus additional N in ammonium form for slow release.

Seed Treatment

Biolift + Rhizoking applied to seed before planting.
Purpose: Establishes mycorrhizal fungi network + beneficial rhizosphere bacteria from Day 0. This is the foundation of the biological program.

Biostimulant Schedule

VitaLift + CalCharge at 40 days and flag leaf stage.
VitaLift: Amino acid complex, supports stress resilience and nutrient translocation.
CalCharge: Chelated calcium for cell wall integrity and grain quality.
⚠ Fungicide warning: If disease spray is needed later, use targeted products (e.g., Prosaro) to protect soil biology investment. Avoid broad-spectrum copper or mancozeb which will damage mycorrhizal network.
Biological vs Chemical Decision Framework:
Biological First
Seed treatment, biostimulants, foliar nutrients
Chemical Only If Needed
Disease >6/10 risk, pest threshold breach

Agronomist Notes
Nutricat Processing: Apply Nutricat Urea 7-14 days before planting. The urease inhibitor needs time, and soil microbes need time to convert ammonium to plant-available forms.
Cu/Zn/Mn Deficiency: Soil levels are critically low (Zn 0.03, Cu 0.07, Mn 0.91 ppm). These will not correct from soil applications while Ca dominance persists. Foliar is the only viable route this season.
Pre-plant Blend: Nutricat Urea and AMS can be blended and broadcast together. Ensure even spread at 100 kg/ha total across 10 ha.
Biological Crop Protection: The Biolift + Rhizoking seed treatment is the foundation. If disease pressure requires spraying, prefer Patostop (biological) or targeted chemistry. Never use broad-spectrum fungicides that destroy the mycorrhizal investment.

What We'll Do & When

1

Before Planting

We treat your seed with beneficial microbes that help roots absorb nutrients better. We also spread nitrogen and sulphur fertilizer 7-14 days before you plant.

2

At Planting

Two products go into the planter bins: one supplies phosphorus and calcium, the other tops up phosphorus. These go right next to the seed where the young plant needs them most.

3

40 Days After Emergence

We take a sap sample from leaves to see exactly what the plant is absorbing. Then we spray a biostimulant mix with trace elements your soil is short on (zinc, iron, copper, manganese).

4

Flag Leaf Stage

Second sap test and spray. This is the last chance to feed the plant before grain fill begins. We fine-tune based on what the first sap analysis showed.

5

Harvest

We measure your actual yield against the 4 t/ha target and calculate the return on your investment. This data feeds into next season's program.

Why This Program?

Your soil analysis shows high magnesium which blocks other nutrients, especially zinc, iron, and copper. Standard fertilizer alone cannot fix this. Our program combines precision placement of fertilizer in the soil with foliar sprays that bypass the blockage and feed nutrients directly through the leaves. The biological seed treatment helps your crop's roots work more efficiently from day one.

Next Season Recommendation

Based on this season's results, our recommendations for the next cycle:

Expand SureWay to full farm area. ROI proven at 409%.
Add K supplementation. Soil K remains at 1.4% base saturation. Start corrective K program (K2SO4, not KCl) at 20 kg K/ha.
Maintain biological program. Mycorrhizal establishment is cumulative -- second season will show greater benefit.
Repeat soil analysis to measure Haney score improvement from biological approach.
Consider cover crop after harvest to further build soil biology and organic matter.
This season's data becomes the baseline
